This is an area where in tandem with our vast experience in corporate structuring, we have advised mainly indigenous oil related companies in their quest to obtain oil blocks from the Nigerian government or farm-ins’ in respect of existing oil concessions.

In this regard we participated actively in the 2005 oil bid round with two local companies – Albright Waves Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited and Rayflosh Petroleum Nigeria Limited – in their joint bid as local partners with Centrica Energy Limited and Consolidated Contractors Nigeria Limited for two oil blocks which were won by the two companies in 2005. We continue to play a significant role in advising and liasing with the regulatory authorities on behalf of our clients.
