Update on the global crisis posed by Covid-19 pandemic.

In response to the unprecedented global and national public health crisis posed by the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) pandemic and the guidelines issued by WHO and the Federal Ministry of Health, we at Olawoyin & Olawoyin have taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, clients and work environment. This has involved the difficult decision to close our offices to any form of activity for the next two weeks in the first instance as we continue to monitor global, national and local developments in respect of the pandemic.
We are however available and will continue to provide legal support and advisory services to our clients remotely from Tuesday, 24 March 2020. In compliance with the directives of government we have reduced physical meetings to the barest minimum. In the event that a need arises for an urgent physical meeting, we will follow the social distancing guidelines stipulated by the relevant authorities of no gathering of more than 20 persons, no handshakes whilst keeping a safe distance of 2 meters apart from one another. We also note that the protocols in respect of social distancing is constantly in a state of flux.
With the help of advanced technology, we will, as a first option, opt for telephone and/or video conferences where appropriate.
Finally, as we continue to monitor the situation as it evolves almost on a daily basis in these unprecedented times, we urge our clients, staff and relatives to stay safe by strictly adhering to all WHO and government advice on the COVID-19 pandemic.
